"Making a difference for people with developmental disabilities"

Work Services

In 1973 Central Aroostook Association developed a work services program for individuals with developmental disabilities. The goal was to offer a work program that allowed individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity to improve personal skills, learn a trade and earn a wage while providing a service to our community.

Currently, our Work Services Program employs approximately 30 individuals, many of whom receive services from one or more of our other programs. Our staff members, all certified Direct Support Professionals, work hand in hand with each individual to provide the training and personal development that will enable each individual to reach their personal goal.
